APA Attendees to Give Back to New Orleans

The American Psychiatric Association wants to leave something positive behind after its Annual Meeting in New Orleans. While registering for the meeting in New Orleans, attendees can give back to the host city by donating to the New Orleans Mission, which provides services to homeless people in the heart of the city. The New Orleans Mission is a non-profit that seeks to alleviate the plight of homeless men, women and children. The Mission provides meals, showers, clothing, shelter, literacy classes and job skills training. Donations will be accepted through May 26.
